Beast Industries continued adding executives, employees, products, licensing relationships, and prospective business lines. Independent profiles framed the company as an attempt to build a diversified media and consumer institution. On April 22, 2026, a former employee, Lorrayne Mavromatis, sued MrBeastYouTube, LLC and GameChanger 24/7, LLC in the Eastern District of North Carolina (Mavromatis v. MrBeastYouTube, LLC, No. 4:26-cv-00059), asserting FMLA interference and retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful discharge, and alleging sexual harassment and a hostile work environment. Donaldson is not a named defendant. A company spokesperson called the complaint “clout-chasing” and said it rests on false statements. The allegations have not been adjudicated. In May 2025 Mexican officials, including the national archaeology institute (INAH), said filming permits for archaeological sites did not authorize commercial use, as the BBC and Newsweek reported. MrBeast’s spokesperson said no advertising material was shot on sites overseen by INAH and called the dispute “unfortunate.” These disputes kept governance, labor controls, brand risk, and founder dependence open.
